I am new to this. I have a visit from Komfort Kare scheduled for my wife each morning. No show the last 3 days ! Called them each day and got varying excuses. IS THIS NORMAL !!!
My mom has been a client of Komfort Kare for over 4 years, the care has always been amazing. Recently she fell ill while we were on holidays and the carers and office team went about and beyond to ensure she received medical attention and was not left alone. I cannot put into word how exceptional this company are, the kindness and support is first class. Thank you so much
Komfort Kare used to be an excellent company, one I was proud to be associated with. Unfortunately, everything changed when new management took over. Since then, the company has gone downhill, and the quality of both management and service has deteriorated drastically. The current management is horrendous. They recently slashed the mileage reimbursement from $0.50 per kilometre to a measly $0.10 per kilometre, despite the rising cost of petrol. This decision has placed a financial strain on the staff, many of whom travel long distances to provide care. The situation has gotten so bad that there have been numerous complaints filed with the HSE. One manager even sued the company for negligence – something you can verify through reputable news outlets like the Irish Times. As an Irish-born Black woman, I’ve noticed something alarming: there are barely any Irish care workers in this company anymore. I’m not saying this to bring race into the discussion, but it’s hard not to observe that many Irish workers simply won’t tolerate the horrendous management practices that have become the norm at Komfort Kare. The way the staff is treated is shocking. The positive reviews you see online, particularly on Google, are misleading at best. It’s clear that they don’t reflect the current state of the company. If you care about your loved ones, I would strongly advise you against entrusting their care to Komfort Kare. And if you’re looking for a job in the care industry, I cannot recommend this company. In the past, I would’ve been the first to sing Komfort Kare's praises. But now, the lack of appreciation for the staff is appalling. They expect you to drive long distances with barely any compensation, and there’s no recognition for the hard work you put in. Working for this company today is a thankless experience. If you want to work for a company that values and respects its employees, look elsewhere. Komfort Kare is no longer the company it once was, and words can barely express the disappointment I feel in seeing what it’s become
I have been a client for over 3 years, my carers are great and i would be lost without them. The office are always in contact and management call in regularly for chat and ask is everything ok. My family are updated when needed and mostly when I got sick they made sure I was looked after. I am so thankful to Komfort Kare, they are like family to me and its great to get such great care. Thank you
Great experience with Komfort Kare - staff are very professional and kind! It’s the little things they do! Denise, Heather, Shauna and Laura only to name a few always super helpful! Keep up the good work
