I found Home Instead fantastic. The five stars is for Agnes who managed my parents’ care as if they were her own parents. She is a wonderful caring person and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Also Iaesia Agnes manager. She really made me feel heard and always listened to my concerns. She kept in touch and always returned my calls. She is a fantastic manager and I would recommend her to anyone thinking of using Home Instead. Thank you 🙏
Passed an interview, training and an induction day with these when it was known as Home Instead in 2019. Sent in all the documents and additional online training too, only to get a thank you and never be contacted again. Time wasters.
Not just this certain branch but the company as a whole is a terribly flawed , poorly run company where guilt and emotions are played on to ply workers into taking more shifts . Next to no effort is made on part of the company to uphold covid ppe also . If anyone has more questions I could go on
Carers are fantastic. Care has been cancelled at the last minute and left my mum who is completely disabled by herself multiple times. . Really terrible service. If I didn't call out to a customer I would lose their business. Shocking that a business can run like this. Under resourced and taking on more clients than they are able to manage. Management need to take this serious. They didn't even have the decency to call me to cancel, they went straight through to the voicemail without calling my number.
Don't trust this crowd with anything. And I'm not talking about the care givers themselves. They're brilliant. Could not fault them. However the company will lie through their back teeth, over charge you, won't turn up and blame care givers even though they're the ones who tell carers where to go! Avoid unless like us you need them. Be prepared to have constant heart ache
