We’re currently using Comfort Keepers North Dublin for home care, and unfortunately, the experience has been very poor. Some of the carers are clearly inexperienced and don’t seem genuinely interested in providing quality care — just there to do the basics and get paid. On multiple occasions, water has been left spilled around the house, which is unsafe, and proper personal care is often rushed or done poorly. We’ve contacted management several times, but the issues are never resolved. The only response we get is, “Sorry, we have new staff” — but sorry isn’t good enough when it comes to the safety and dignity of our parents. We need consistent, trained carers who treat this job with the care and attention it demands. Very disappointed !
I don't know about their services but for recruitment I can say my wife was scammed. My wife went through all their recruitment processes, passed their crooked interview and they told her they can only offer her the job when she pays under the pretext of getting a medical certification from their prearranged GP. They rejected my wife' GP medical certification. These people should be reported to the Gardai and be arrested. I wonder how many innocent job seekers will fall victim to these scams. My wife also fell victim to some other agencies asking her to pay around 120 euro for a training and when she finished that one they then asked her to do another one that was when she realised they are scammers. Alot of such training scamming outlets in Dublin need to be arrested. It is so sad!!!
comfort keepers looked after my mam for three years and were very good and consistent despite problems in our family. i will be recommending comfort keepers to people who need care as part of my work as a dementia nurse advisor. i found you could talk reasonably to people in comfort keepers which did not happen with home instead who let us down badly
