I would strongly advise anyone considering employment with this company to look very carefully at working conditions and management practices. There are serious concerns regarding staff wellbeing, predictable hours, and compliance with Irish employment law. From what I have observed, issues relating to minimum wage protections, working time regulations, and fair procedures have not always been handled appropriately. A particularly concerning issue is how concerns raised by staff are dealt with. When employees raise legitimate questions about scheduling, pay, or working conditions, communication can become dismissive. In some cases, concerns are ignored. In other cases, responses have involved raised voices or confrontational phone calls rather than constructive dialogue. A workplace should allow employees to raise concerns without fear of being ignored or shouted at. Professional disagreement should never turn into hostility. I hope the company reflects on how staff concerns are handled and ensures a respectful, compliant, and supportive working environment going forward. I can’t speak highly enough of this company. They have looked after my mother with such care and compassion. The carers are highly skilled, thorough, and professional, always ensuring that dignity and respect are maintained at all times. It’s clear that they truly care about the people they support. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one. Shout out to Rachel who is more like a friend to my mother than a carer at this stage. Thank you
We were referred to Comfort Home care when my mother had a fall and needed support to remain in her own home while living alone. Everyone we have dealt with in the company have been nothing but professional, compassionate and extremely caring, from the coordinator, the assessor and the host of lovely carers who have looked after our mam. Mams regular carer, Rachel in particular, has gone above and beyond on every visit to ensure mam is well taken care of, comfortable and happy before she leaves. I am at ease knowing mam is safe and looked after by these lovely people. Would highly recommend 👌

I highly recommend Comfort Homecare. When my Mam was sick and being cared for at home we were blessed to get Dara Travers Shortt and her team to help us out Nothing was a problem and they were extremely kind patient and just amazing .
