My mother required care at home for about 9 months in 2024. Applewood provided excellent care and my mother was very happy with it. There was consistency of staff so that she got to know her carers. There is always someone to talk to on the phone or in person if the family want to make adjustments to care or to change/amend visiting times. The overwhelming majority of the carers were kind, professional, competent, gentle and helpful. Without Applewood we would not have been able to care for our mother at home. We really appreciate the consideration of all the Applewood employees.
Great company with very caring people
They visited to clarify what care assistance was needed. Agreed date to start care, whilst waiting for costings. Subsequently called twice to confirm start date and request costings once again, messages left with person who visited house, no reply no communication. Very poor and unprofessional. Avoid.
