Upon arrival i was shown into a community room and asked to wait after 45 min was taken to my room and left there. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly if at all as the previous occupants belongings were still there......the toilet does not flush..... and there are no towels... The bed squeaks and makes so much noise you might not be able to sleep if a light sleeper My tea came which was a egg sandwich which I don't like and was told that is all there is.. I saw a doctar who welcomed me then, I was constantly asked by nurse if I needed my pain killers when I was asking for them as per my allowance, so much so I was being made feel guilty for breaking my hip and being in pain after the replacement hip. Breakfast was porridge which I don't like a a piece of cold hard dry toast not edible with my dentures. Lunch was over salty piece of ham and dinner rock hard cold chicken coupons with what tasted like spicy potatoes cubes. Nurse during day kept coming in and waking me up for what at times was trivial questions ..like have I moved my bowls. The night nurse would come in wake me up to take blood pressure take off cuff then want to put on another cuff to take again.. She would ask me my blood sugar level from my meter which gives readings every 5 minutes then start saying when is that reading and not listening to answer. Breakfast reappeared on my 2nd morning the same as the first. There is nothing that allows you get a soft drink bar of chocolate biscuit outside what you are given for lunch Breakfast and tea. Apart from 11 o. Clock soup that is extremely thick and tastes yuk.. I am now waiting to see doctor as want to leave desperately. I very strongly advise anyone who has no family not to attend tymon north
