Excellent care facility, I spent 13 weeks here and the treatment I received was second to none, from nursing to physio and catering to care staff these people are amazing, as for reception staff well when you have ladies like Shelia Elizabeth and Chloe you are never short of a smile or conversation. The food here was amazing also, let's just say you won't go hungry. The activities team are amazing with providing something each day for the residents.
Hi Sean Fitzgerald here I recently returned home after 5 months in Marley Nursing home for respite the level of care and attention RECEIVED was absolutely "EXCELLENT" from the moment I entered till my departure I cannot thank them enough especially St. Saul unit November 2025
Visited the Marlay nursing Home. Place was absolutely spotless. The residents I met and chatted with were extremely happy. Great atmosphere in the place. Staff extremely friendly. Food was great. Could only but recommend.
Excellent nursing home. Very modern, airy and spacious residents rooms, loads of communal day rooms, dining rooms and seated areas dotted around the home. Lovely grounds with accessible gardens and courtyards for residents. Staff appear very professional and friendly with their residents, plenty of activities to avail of. Car parking a bit tight but adequate. Food very high quality and homemade by their own chef. Lovely views over the dublin mountains. Appears very comfortable for the residents and has a lovely caring atmosphere. I was very impressed by this nursing home.
My mother was due to stay for 2 weeks however we took her out after 8 days. There is a dreadful smell of urine once you leave the lift on floor 2. As you walk by the room after room of people lying in their beds for hour after hour without any stimulation. The food is horrible and portion size is tiny. I spent 10 minutes which is a long time, looking for a nurse on Monday 24th of February. Literally no staff member to be found. Yes it looks great but if you want better care thus is not the place.
