Patrick Mc Entee My Dad Owen Mc Entee went to Sonas nursing home in Tullow on the 6th November 2025. He was in Naas Hospital for 2 weeks with pneumonia. He went to Sonas for 6 weeks respite. They provide him with the very best love & care that you could have wish for. Pat Tyrell the manager has surrounded himself with the very best staff. They all work as a team. It was lovely to visit my Dad in a very homely & the atmosphere was excellent. I would strongly recommend Sonas Nursing Home Tullow anyone is looking for a nursing home for there love ones because it is home from home. There is plenty of things for everybody to do. There is music, parties Bbq's & plenty of chats amongst the residents in the Nursing Home. My Dad Owen will definitely back for respite soon.
I’m really impressed with the recent changes at Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow. The new manager has brought a fresh and positive energy to the facility, and it’s clear that they are dedicated to creating a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. The atmosphere is lively and full of joy, making it a pleasant place for both residents and their families. The staff are not only professional but also incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure that the residents feel comfortable and valued. It's truly a great place where the residents feel like part of a community. Our family are so grateful for the care that’s given to our mother.
As my mother reached 102 years old in Sonas Nursing Home last December, we could not be more grateful for the loving care she receives from the entire staff. Since the new manager Pat arrived the atmosphere has completely changed, lots of chats, music, parties & BBQ's all bringing residents back to ordinary life. We are so grateful to everyone for all the wonderful memories that become more precious everyday. We would recommend Sonas Nursing Home to anyone who is looking to place a family member in care.
My mother came to Sonas Tullow in August 2024 and since then they have provided her with the very best love and care that you could wish for. The manager Pat has surrounded himself with the very best of staff who work as a team and it is really nice to visit her in a lovely homely atmosphere and I strongly recommend Sonas Tullow to anyone who is looking for a home from home for their loved one.
In August of 24 my lovely brother Noel wen into long term care in Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow due to dementia. From the 1st conversation I had with Pat and Kathy I knew this was the place I wanted Noel to be and I haven't been let down. From Pat and Kathy in Management/Administration, Carol Director of Nursing, all the nurses, carers and all the staff who are so generous with their time and care. Noel is very happy and so well cared for, I no longer have the stress and worry of him living on his own. I would have no problem recommending Sonas to anyone who is looking for long term care for a loved one.
