Had only good experiences for the 19 months my father was cared for at ML Balbriggan. He had Alzheimer’s disease and all staff there were extremely gentle kind and caring to him especially on some challenging occasions. The food was excellent and plentiful and the entertainment was imaginative and varied. I am very grateful for this beautiful facility which is kept to a very clean and high standard. The family made daily visits at various times and like me were always impressed in particular by the staff and standard of care given to all patients. I’ll always be grateful to them and for their obvious vocation to the job.
Some of the most hard working & dedicated staff around. Wonderful location with stunning views and clean facilities. Beautiful beach right beside it !
I would like to thank all the staff in moorehall balbriggan who.provided excellent care to my mother and looked after her with utmost kindness and dignity. From the HCAs, the nurses and the senior managers nothing was ever too much and we felt safe leaving mum with them. Love that there is no uniforms and its always calm.
The staff overall are lovely, management needs a complete overhaul, to address issues of staff shortages in all departments. I hope Teresa, Zeezee and Daniella can make improvements re activities to cater for all residents as not everyone there has Dementia/ Alzheimer's etc. Hopefully you can get the local community in Balbriggan involved with residents and staff as this would be good for everyone. It really is a beautiful place with wonderful views from the family room in particular. My Mam is very happy there and although she was always fond of her home she is very settled and does not express any great wish to return home in the near future! The staff are brilliant. It's expensive but under the Fair Deal scheme it is affordable.
