Well I'm very worried about the very sad reviews, a relative has been sent there. Will keep updated
Very good to much mother unfortunately I can't get there myself to often because of my medical health and the care my mother is getting there is great thanks to the team from Grace I appreciate all the hard work yous do looking after my mother
I'm giving this nursing home a 1 star because I can't give it a lower rating. While my relative was there I noticed no interaction between staff and residents or staff and visitors. While my relative has mobility issues she was left to sit in a corner with other residents who through no fault of their own could not interact with her, when she requested to attend certain activities she said she was told to sit and watch tv , she was also put into her pyjamas after evening tea approximately 5pm. There was no evidence of water dispensers although there were jugs of water, and juices placed sporadically in the day room, but for residents with mobility issues it was not possible for them to reach them. Overall in my opinion this nursing home leaves a lot to be desired and needs to upskiill staff with regard to patient care and to encourage staff to interact with residents to ensure a good quality of life while residing there.
Terrible nursing home broken legs, bed sores list goes on. 10 weeks in the place my mother was dead. 5 days dying in hospital. Not even a call or mass card. If u cherish ur loved ones keep away from this nursing home.
We can recommend this nursing home for their team led by Aisling and team. We simply arrived and needed a bed urgently and Aisling immediately said yes, as did we as we felt completely comfortable with her. They have some great staff, from Bernie at reception, Niamh, Ana, Bernagitta, Adrianna who had only just started on our arrival. Maynooth Lodge took on a difficult situation with no hesitation. Dr. Muris is out on his own as GP and empathic practitioner. Highly recommended for your loved ones
