Excellent facility, my Mum is a long term resident here, she is happy and well cared for, the staff look after all her needs in a friendly, professional manner. . All the staff including Management, Nurses, Carers, Activities Coordinators, Administration, Cleaning and Kitchen staff are fantastic. Thank you for all you do, knowing my loved one is in capable hands gives me great comfort..

Absolute shambles, place is short staffed, the person I visit constantly smells of urine and is rarely out of the bed. When I ask why, I'm told "because they didn't want to get out of bed". If my relation was able to make those decisions they wouldn't be in here. At over €1200 PER WEEK I could put them in 4star accommodation but alas they need care that is not being provided, shame on you Bartra.

My nan came for respite here and had to leave early because of how she felt here. Although the workers were all lovely and welcoming no one seemed to listen. Staff were told multiple times the medications she had to take and these instructions where ignored even after complaining during her stay as she reported back to are family she was not being given her medication which she needed. Along with that staff were told multiple times my nan was not on any specified diet and did not need any thickeners or softened food they ignored this and served her tea that was thicked and pureed food while also not giving her the proper medication to help her nausea so while only eating tiny amounts as she doesn't want or need a pureed diet she was getting sick all she was taking in. In the end family had to go bring her home as it was not fair on her anymore to stay in a place that would so blatantly ignore her own,her family's and doctors requests. I feel aweful writting this but I was so hopefully of this place because of all the positive reviews I had heard but was so disappointed in the end and needed to share.
