On Friday the 13 th of May I visited Kinvara to see what it was like as we are looking for somewhere for a relative . I have to say I was met by staff who were so professional ,kind and gave us there time to answer questions we did not have answers for. The place was homely we met with the residents who were very content and Happy . Thank you for your time with the visit .
Its ok, staff are very nice but the rooms are tiny, like children's rooms, not fit for adults, hard to maintain a scrap of dignity when your entire life is squashed into a room suitable for a 10 year old. Residents are not brought to mass, which shocked me for Ireland, and there is little to do other than the same cafe and same view and same walk day in day out - might be a lovely view but the novelty soon wears off.
