This is a wonderful nursing home for our senior who are well looked after by wonderful staff and it is local and easy to get to for visiting

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My late Dad, Padraig was a resident of Kilcoole Nursing Home for a year and a half and if you are looking for a place for your loved one look no further. From the moment you enter in you know you are in a good place. ALL the staff are wonderful, from reception, administration, the cleaners, the chefs but most of all those that look after the residents themselves. They are so kind, so considerate and you know you can walk out the door knowing your loved on is in safe hands, giving you peace of mind which is priceless. There are some absolute angels in there that I will always remember so fondly. I highly recommend Kilcoole Nursing Home to anyone considering this as a haven for your loved one.
Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home Appalling care for the most part. One or two permanent staff were excellent, but agency staff, ( of which there is a lot) were completely inadequate in their care. Senior management response was appalling. very arrogant and dismissive. I feel very sorry for any resident with no family to stand up for them.
I stayed in Kilcoole Lodge for six weeks late 2021. I found the accommodation excellent, and the staff competent and friendly and in some cases exceptional. Where I did have any small problems, management responded in a timely manner. I needed physiotherapy and was very happy with treatment provided. Activities were also good.
