Could not speak highly enough of the care my mother received in Kilcara. Special call out to Prince and Fiona. Only for family owned nursing homes like this, people like my mother wouid be abandoned by the HSE. With regards , HIQUA, I’m be more impressed if resources were diverted to help NH like this rather than going round problem pointing.
This is the most homely, caring, and professional nursing home I was ever in.
They couldn't even dress my mother in law in her own clothes. Her sister bought her some really nice trousers they vanished never saw her weaing them ever. Says a lot. The public toilet was filthy this was a few years ago can only hope they have improved.
