My wife recently passed away in Greystones Nursing Home under the care of the person in charge Min and her team of amazing,caring,loving carers and nursing staff. My wife was looked after for over 4 years in Greystones Nursing Home and through many different phases of her illness the care was just exceptional right up to the final End Of Life care. Not only was my wife treated with such care and respect and love but also my sons and myself felt so cared for and supported through it all. The House and the Grounds are really lovely and very peaceful and calm. But it is really the staff who make this place so special from the person in charge Min to the nurses,carers,kitchen staff and houselold staff the standard is exceptional. In the hallway of the beautiful hall of the Nursing Home House is an quote by Maya Angelou up the wall of the staircase which summarises the atmosphere perfectly: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Family oriented Nursing home, very welcoming
Beautiful old building that was a hotel long ago. Still has chandeliers in the hallway, dining room and very large sitting room with large Georgian windows overlooking large gardens. The nursing home is homely and elegant with very comfortable bedrooms. Staff are exceptional and the nursing home is very well kept. There's plenty of outdoor seating dotted around the gardens with beautiful established trees and shrubbery. Visited a relative on many occasions and definitely highly recommend.
