Rude staff blocked me from seeing my grandfather
Short staffed, small, noisy. Happy to have moved relative to bigger brighter much more adequately staffed, and as it turns out, less expensive care home. Maybe good, per previous reviews, for final months. Wouldn't recommend for longer term home or patient with Lewy Body dementia.
Our family will be forever grateful to the staff of Gascoigne House for the wonderful care they gave to my father in his final months. Such tenderness, kindness and yet always professional we never worried about the care or safety of our dad. And even after our dad had passed away my mother has been made feel part of the Gascoigne family and welcomed to drop in for a coffee and a chat whenever she wants to. They are second to none
