This is a very well-run Nursing Home Any patients/residents I have visited or observed there appear happy Also beautiful grounds in a semi-rural setting Owners are good people and very accessible Must not forget to mention Peppa the Pig who lives in a field in the grounds She likes visitors to bring her apples and will come running and grunting when called - provided she's not having her breakfast!! Very happy Peppa
My mother spent the last months of her life here. The level of care, kindness, love and attention was amazing. This meant so much to us all. Wonderful care home.
My sister is just after returning home after havong respite in Friars Lodge Nursing home. I couldn't express how well she was treated here. The staff are fantastic . The food was like a five star hotel and the care she got was absolutely fantastic. I cannot infasise enough how lucky we are in Ballinrobe to have this fantastic facility on our doorstep. All her friends could visit her there and we're greeted with tea and coffee. Some of her friends visited from Dublin and they were amazed at the care and cleanliness of this wonderful nursing home. I know if I had an operation in the morning I would be looking forward to staying here.
