I’d describe your organisation as staffed by inflexible and uncaring people. I have a 45 minute drive; I got here at 4pm but was told I’d have to wait for an hour to visit my sister, Norah, who has very few visitors. I have other commitments today so could not wait for an hour. Your mealtimes are out of kilter with normal mealtimes. I feel very sad that my sister is in this indifferent “care home”.
My father was a resident at Blainroe Nursing Home for some months last year. He has since passed away. He was an Alzheimer’s patient (for which I believe they are not equipped). On the first night of his residency we phoned to check on him, dialling when prompted for the nurses station. My father answered. He was distressed & there was nobody around him. Residents gather at the main door in tears with no comfort. There are plenty of activity rooms, I never once witnessed any of them used or any residents doing activities. It’s my opinion that this is a cold, understaffed money maker for a big corporation & I would advise against it. From experience.
Wow bedrooms are great food is fabulous staff are really friendly ,seating area is well thought out it really is an amazing place
