I had a lovely female who was in this home since 6yrs now & is still doing reasonably well given that much haa changed for the better in many respects.
Excellent quality of care very clean and comfortable nursing care Excellent all staff very nice elderly father on two weeks rest even said he'd go back so that's saying something 👍
This home is quite good given constraints put on it by lack of proper investment, so in some ways its looking in need of smarting up. The Staff do the best that they can but due to issues controlled by the needs of covid 19 it is not as good as it otherwise would be. The services provided for the residents are very good. The food offerings are as good as one could want, save for some portion sizes. However, its not really suitable for anyone who needs a quiet enviroment because the buildings construction means even the slightest of sounds carry very loudly. Night time ( essential ) duties mean your often disturbed by banging doors & yes, talking & laughter? I had in recent times a need for a two weeks stay for respite & although some things were 100% I was very pleased to get out & would suggest where possible, anyone needing a period of nursing home care be careful & do some research before making any decision to stay or not.
