My mother spent the last 20 months or so in Elm Green. During that time she was given respect and the best care possible. She loved the food and nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff at any time. Mum had a daily visitor from the family so we got to see all the activities she did at different times and the care she received. At the end of her life, the staff were all incredible to our family members. I can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend.
Elm Green Nursing Home cared for our beloved late Auntie with the highest standard of care and attention during the last few months of her life. From the moment we visited this nursing home we knew it was the perfect place for our Aunt to spend her final months and years. The grounds are lovely, and they have small touches such as seasonal decorations. They go the extra mile. Their care and kindness went above and beyond what we expected. We never had any worries about our Aunt’s care. Tina and Lintu amongst others were exceptionally kind and understanding towards our Aunt’s care. All of the staff showed a dedication that is touching. Even when our beloved Aunt passed we encountered professionalism and understanding, and all the staff paid their respects to her and us. This is the Westbury Hotel of nursing homes! AC and MC
Our family will be forever grateful to the team at Elm Green for the wonderful care they gave our mother from January until she passed away in September. The kindness and compassion shown by the staff really added greatly to Mam's quality of life and she really enjoyed the various activities provided. The Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing are exceptional — both warm, caring people who create a culture of genuine compassion in the home. They were always responsive to any concerns we raised (which were few) and consistently made us feel that Mam’s wellbeing was their priority. The atmosphere in Elm Green is welcoming and friendly, and as a family we always felt included and supported. After Mam passed, we chose to bring her back to Elm Green for reposal before the funeral, and the respect and care shown to her, and to all of us, was deeply moving. She was given a beautiful and dignified send-off by the staff the morning we left for her funeral, something we will never forget. Thank you to everyone at Elm Green for the kindness, care and comfort you gave to Mam — and to us. It was greatly appreciated.
My sister Mary Walsh resided in Elm Green for 15 years. It was her home and the staff were her family. She was very happy there, very safe and given the best of care and love. When she needed Nursing Home care, we looked at 3 or 4 different ones and Elm Green was the favourite and boy did she make the right decision. I would like to thank all the Staff for the wonderful care you gave to Mary.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close to the airport, railway station, and M50. A large nursing home with a lovely garden and ample parking. Staff who are friendly and hardworking and provide excellent care to the elderly.
