My father in law has been there almost two weeks now and our experience of the place has been very positive thus far. From the moment I contacted them regarding availability, Diana got in touch and was so helpful and friendly to deal with. She was excellent in supporting our transition to get him from hospital and into care. She reassured us and provided all the necessary information needed. Over his time in Dunlavin, all the staff have been brilliant. Friendly, warm and really connect with all the residents. We are surprised at how well he has settled in over a short time frame and to see him really enjoy chatting to all the staff and having a laugh with them. On top of that, facilities are one of the best we’ve seen, spacious rooms, filled with light and easy to get around the home. Good variety of food and activities for residents too.
Nice Nursing Home staffs are very friendly. I like to come in here. Very calm area.
My late Mother was resident here for close to three and a half years and our family were delighted with her care. Of course some of her laundry etc. got mixed up and there is a high turnover of staff, but there is a steady core of management and staff, who keep the continuity going. Everyone was professional and pleasant, we were always kept informed of any incidents and updates especially during covid. In her final days, the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding.
Difficult to describe this wonderful centre as a nursing home as it is more like a 5 star hotel. First class care and a wonderful ambience from the moment you walk through the doors. And the setting is simply delightful. A real hive of activity and great care.
Beautiful care setting with excellent services and support for clients. Wonderful staff and the whole building is so clean and hygienic. Overall a five star care home.
