Would not recommend! The managing staff and the covering doctor who is a GP not a geriatric specialist is one of the rudest person I have ever come across with no bedside manner or compassion. The only positives for this place are the health care assistants, household staff and security.
I would sincerely like to thank the wonderful staff for their wonderful, loving and professional care shown towards my Mum Ann during the last few months of her life . A Big Thank you especially to Lisa, Nora , Geraldine, Thomas , Austin and Sionara who showed wonderful care and compassion to Mum and everyone else in Admin, Reception and Housekeeping for making the family very welcome Thank You
No problem recommending Clearbrook Nursing Home. My father currently a resident he has Dementia and I can say he is looked after very well. All residents rooms are single occupancy with their own bathroom. We are always updated on his progress and nothing changes regarding his care unless we are contacted and we agreed good communicationis key. His daily activities of living are looked after to the highest of standards. We have no worries and know Dad is in a safe environment. There a a beautiful garden at the rear of premises for residents and families to enjoy together. Plenty of activities during the day with singing and dancing 💃 weekly.
Not a great place for a loved. Staff shortage a big problem. No signage for nursing home. Not great at keeping you in formed on your loved ones health or anything else .You may have to ring several times before you get a answer. Grounds could do with some TLC.There seem to be a lack of care as others have posted.
Not great nursing home understaffed not a lot time for resident staff there do there very best but just not enough of them my mother left for hours on end in her room alone we done 11am to 8 pm up there with our mother to make sure she had company and was looked after but once we left she was on her own as we were put out at night took a dying woman out her bed left on chair wouldn't let me feed her in dining room and she was terrified as she had alzheimer's needed people she knew with her was only put there for rehabilitation for 2 weeks was took out on Sunday her last week in ambulance she was so sick very badly dehydrated and in pain died 4 days later
