Received a letter in February regarding my account being in credit for 100.00 euro, but despite giving my bank details on two occasions I have not received my refund 100.00 euro. I have called about seven times, spoken with various individuals at the Malahide Care Choice Home, but I am still waiting for my refund after eight months. How could a supposedly reputable organization have a very poorly operating accounting department? Any suggestion on what more I can do? I supplied my mobile phone, my landline number and my e-mail as well as my mailing address.
My mother is currently a resident in Care Choice on the Malahide Road and I simply can’t recommend the place highly enough. The residents are busy with activities every day and all of the staff are so amazing.
My dad resided in Carechoice Malahide Road for just over a year. The overall care provided by the team there was excellent from the start to the end. The team there treated him with great dignity and respect and most importantly treated him as a person with his own needs. I can't speak highly enough of the nursing and caring staff on the two wards he was in (Rowan and Birch). There was a genuine affection shown towards him and I saw many moments of happiness that brought a tear to my eye. Providing care for someone with dementia is challenging at the best of times and so inevitably there may be some disagreements. Any concerns I raised were listened to and acted on in a professional manner for which I was extremely thankful. In his last days there, the staff provided superb palliative support and I will always be thankful that he was able to die in a comfortable environment, surrounded by those who needed to say goodbye. I was touched greatly by the compassion, stories and genuine affection that the staff showed for my father in his last days. For our dad it was definitely the right environment.
Mam was with the good people at Carechoice Malahide Road for the past two years and two months, passing away just recently. Life is not perfect, nobody is perfect, and I'm sure Carechoice is not perfect, but we will be forever grateful for the care and attention Mam got in her time there. She was treated like a Queen and that love and devotion never diminished as her condition and mobility deteriorated. She passed away peacefully, with dignity and the staff were unfailingly kind and helpful. To the many people who loved and cared for her, our sincere thanks. You do an amazing job, putting family members' minds at rest, and just know, it is very much appreciated.
My mother recently spent her last three weeks in palliative care in CareChoice, Malahide. Her care was excellent, every staff member was respectful, attentive and responsive to her needs, and supported close family during this difficult time. Her room was lovely and calm, with view of trees and birds, we made it homely with photos, flowers and plants, and could come and go as needed. While a sad time, the care environment helped us manage the situation as best as we could. Thanks for everything I highly recommend CareChoice Malahide, best Mary Murphy
