I went conveyancing on March 24th till 31st for the week after repeated surgery on my right knee in South Infirmary Cork. I found the premises so clean very welcoming the staff were so helpful and accommodating towards me. I would recommend this Nursing Home in the future.

Have pages and pages about this place A kip of a place. Management are 100% to blame. I wouldn't put most of the staff down Not there fault But it's definitely a eye opener of a place..God help the residents that don't have people calling on a daily basis to check on them.

My grandmother was in here during the summer of 2022. She had a stroke while she was in there and was not sent to cuh for two days after. It took my mum and uncle to notice that she wasn't right, and they rang my mother before they rang an ambulance. Absolutely careless people working here. If it was caught on time then my grandmother would not be suffering as much now as she is. If you don't care for your family member, then send them in here because they don't care either! Disgrace of a place.

My mother was one of the many residents to fall ill with COVID-19 during the peak of the pandemic in 2021. The way we were treated whilst my mother lay on her own in a dark room with not a single member of staff come to see if she was okay or if she was still breathing, was absolutely appalling. I stood outside in the torrential rain on a cold, dark night, looking in a window at my dying mother alongside of my family. It took Covid to truly highlight all of the issues that occured behind the scenes within this so-called carehome and we are still yet to find out more. For your own sake and for the sake of your loved ones, do not put them into the care of these people.

It says it all really when the 3 five star reviews are from staff members. There should be an option of zero stars for places like this. In my opinion they should be shut down and should never again be allowed to care for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. The new management brought in to this home have absolutely destroyed it. Based on personal experience I wouldn't advise anybody to even consider Ballynoe as a home for their loved one.
