My Mom moved into Beaumont Nursing Home a few months ago. Everything was going swimmingly at first, plenteous activities & pleasant company. Imagine our horror, when a few weeks into her stay, we got a call at midnight from Mom in a state of absolute panic, saying that a man smoking outside her room had tried to force his way into her room. Mom threatened to call the Guards but the nursing home said they would take care of things. The same thing happened again just a few days later and the man was moved away by staff. There haven't been any issues since, but I thought I should warn anyone who is thinking of choosing Beaumont. We have been looking into finding a more suitable nursing home. Edit: It turns out she lied & the person never tried to get into her room & was simply smoking outside. I can only apologise profusely to the gentleman for her behaviour. I also found out she wasn't paying her bills at Beaumont at that time.
