My mother was in Ashley Lodge for over 2 years and was treated with the utmost kindness and care. The staff are so friendly and supportive. I would recommend them to anyone. She has passed away now and they had a lovely mass for her and other patients that had died during the year. That was much appreciated.
My mam recently passed away in Ashley Lodge nursing home. We will be forever greatful for the care she got while she was in there. The staff were second to none. While mam was in her last few days the care and compassion from the staff was immeasurable. Thank you
Absolutely would not put my dog in there. My grandmother, suffering with severe dementia and Alzheimer’s, was in there and was completely neglected. To simply scratch the surface, she was left in her room alone 24 hours a day, food was put on a tray in front of her, and collected shortly after whether she did or didn’t eat it, no one monitored her liquid or food intake, incorrect medicines were given, no one cared or monitored her sanitary needs. Unless we went in every single day, she slept in a wet bed, didn’t change out of her clothes, didn’t eat or drink, didn’t leave her room. Other male patients were allowed to enter her room multiple times before something was actually done about the situation. She was petrified, constantly alone and depressed. I am so glad to have my nanny in a safe nursing home now. Please steer clear of this place. While some staff were polite and kind, most lacked the presence of adequate training, especially to deal with diseases that come with old age. Staff & owners do not care that these residents were once highly valued members of society—mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters, aunties, uncles, friends, teachers, etc. Avoid at all costs.
One Star is even two much of it the people that are living in their do not get the care and respect that their deserve and their left in wet beds and think it all right of man two chance women wouldn't recommend it at all
Not a very nice nursing home I wouldn't recommend it my aunt spent time there she wasn't looked after
